The story behind the water

From Caracas to Bologna

Water reveals what we are willing to observe.

Hi, I'm Victor, and Acquario di Bologna grows from two experiences: direct observation of aquatic habitats and years of aquarium practice. My goal is to turn that perspective into useful, honest information.

My journey began in Venezuela, on underwater expeditions dedicated to reintroducing endangered species. That is where I learned that a habitat is not decoration: it is a living system, and caring for it is our responsibility.

Today, from Bologna, this space offers an alternative: less content designed to sell and more context for understanding what happens inside and beyond the aquarium.
